The two biggest reasons 50% of all Realtors don't get involved with selling new homes according to a study commissed by Builder Homesite that surveyed 3,009 Realtors:
1. Fixed price - Realtors are trained to negotiate price and feel that this is one of the most important services they offer the buyer.
2. They can't get comfortable with finding inventory.
Here's a game changer 'what if"...What if Realtors were trained to understand that the only way the resale prospect will clearly understand the money, is to see, touch and feel what they can get tor their money, and that is why showing a fixed price new home to a resale prospect is so important.
Many of these prospects are frustrated resale shoppers because they cannot not stand the renovation stick shock, so they decide to wait, when in reality many are buying new homes because everything is new, and they understand to the penny what they are getting for their money.
